Buttock reshaping for women

The buttock reshaping is a cosmetic operation, which will not be paid for by the health insurance companies.

What does the surgery involve?

If liposuction is not sufficient or can not be performed due to the age of the patient, excess skin and fat can be removed and the shape of the buttock can be re-established. This procedure has to be done with a general anaesthetic and therefore the patient needs to stay in the hospital for 1-2 days. The scars will be within the crease and so only white lines can be seen after some time.

What happens after surgery?

After the operation, compression trousers (support tights) have to be worn for 6-8 weeks. During this period, no sport should be done. Initially, sitting is painful but after 2-3 weeks this should recede.
